Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Automatic Proof of Theta-Function Identities [PDF]
This is a tutorial for using two new MAPLE packages, thetaids and ramarobinsids. The thetaids package is designed for proving generalized eta-product identities using the valence formula for modular functions. We show how this package can be used to find theta-function identities as well as prove them.

The dFoCC pipeline starts with observed DED and resting‐state coordinates, which are then used to generate a library of triggered states. Correlation analysis of the calculated DED features of each candidate vs observed DED permits quantitative evaluation of candidate structural quality.

New Mock Theta Function Identities via Fractional q-Calculus and Bilateral 2ψ2 Series
Mock theta functions, introduced by Ramanujan in his last letter to Hardy, play a significant role in q-series theory and have natural connections to fractional q-calculus. In this paper, we study bilateral hypergeometric series of the form ψ22= ∑n=−∞∞(a,

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Optimizing photoexcitation conditions for time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering experiments
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering (TR‐XSS) is a powerful technique to visualize how proteins change their structure in real time after light activation. Selecting the right laser photoexcitation conditions—fluence, excitation geometry, and sample refresh rate—is critical to maximize the experimental signal while avoiding unwanted side effects ...

Some Remarks on Very-Well-Poised 8ϕ7 Series
Nonpolynomial basic hypergeometric eigenfunctions of the Askey-Wilson second order difference operator are known to be expressible as very-well-poised 8ϕ7 series.

Theta-function identities and the explicit formulas for theta-function and their applications
Let \(h_{k,n}= \frac{\varphi(e^{-\pi\sqrt{n/k}})} {k^{1/4}\varphi(e^{-\pi\sqrt{nk}})}\) and \(h_{k,n}'= \frac{\varphi(-e^{-2\pi\sqrt{n/k}})} {k^{1/4}\varphi(-e^{-2\pi\sqrt{nk}})},\) where \(\varphi(q)=\sum_{j=-\infty}^\infty q^{j^2}\). Properties of \(h_{k,n}\) and \(h_{k,n}'\) are studied, and \(h_{k,n}\) and \(h_{k,n}'\) are explicitly evaluated for ...

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.
