Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Characteristics of linear and nonlinear approximation of isotropic classes of periodic multivariate functions

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2023
Exact order estimates for some characteristics of linear and nonlinear approximation of the isotropic Nikol'skii-Besov classes $\mathbf{B}^r_{p,\theta}$ of periodic multivariate functions in the spaces $B_{q,1}$, $1\leq q \leq \infty$, are obtained ...

Exact solution of the Schr\"{o}dinger equation for an hydrogen atom at the interface between the vacuum and a topologically insulating surface

open access: yes, 2019
When an hydrogen atom is brought near to the interface between $\theta$-media, the quantum-mechanical motion of the electron will be affected by the electromagnetic interaction between the atomic charges and the $\theta$-interface, which is described by ...

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Some congruences for 3-component multipartitions

open access: yesOpen Mathematics, 2016
Let p3(n) denote the number of 3-component multipartitions of n. Recently, using a 3-dissection formula for the generating function of p3(n), Baruah and Ojah proved that for n ≥ 0, p3(9n + 5) ≡ 0 (mod 33) and p3 (9n + 8) ≡ 0 (mod 34).

Superconformal Algebras and Mock Theta Functions

open access: yes, 2009
It is known that characters of BPS representations of extended superconformal algebras do not have good modular properties due to extra singular vectors coming from the BPS condition.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

On certain relations among the generating functions for certain quadratic forms [PDF]

open access: yesNotes on Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics
The object of this article is to establish the relation between the generating function of the quadratic form 2m²+2mn+3n² and the generating functions for the quadratic forms m²+mn+n², m²+mn+2n², m²+mn+4n² and 2m²+mn+2n².

On the addition formula for the tropical Hesse pencil [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We give the addition formula for the tropical Hesse pencil, which is the tropicalization of the Hesse pencil parametrized by the level-three theta functions, via those for the ultradiscrete theta functions.
