A simple model is reported for thickness-mode piezoelectric elements used as ultrasonic transducers in measurement systems. The model represents the excitation system and transducer as a Thevenin mechanical equivalent for the transmitting mode and a Thevenin electrical equivalent for the receiving mode.

2021The high-frequency switching of transistors in power electronic (PE) converters is known to cause unintended common-mode (CM) current that flows through parasitically-coupled ground paths. This paper proposes a new method of finding the Thevenin equivalent circuits for the transformer and partial–ideal operational amplifier systems that have not been systematically solved by traditional approaches now. This paper also exploits some strong improvements to solve the complicated dependent source circuit and mutual coupling circuit.

This paper presents a time domain simulation model for conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) in lossy transmission lines. The lossy lines are divided into a small number of ideal sections for which the Thevenin equivalent circuits substitute, and between these sections the resistances and conductances are connected on behalf of the loss of lines.

Modeling of Islanded Microgrids Using Static and Dynamic Equivalent Thevenin Circuits
2018In this paper, a new modeling method based on the equivalent Thevenin circuit is proposed for inverter-interfaced microgrids. The proposed method approximates the entire network connected to each inverter with an equivalent Thevenin circuit. The equivalent circuit is studied in two forms: static impedance and dynamic second-order RL branch.
