This paper presents a time domain simulation model for conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) in lossy transmission lines. The lossy lines are divided into a small number of ideal sections for which the Thevenin equivalent circuits substitute, and between these sections the resistances and conductances are connected on behalf of the loss of lines.

IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1996
Small-signal Thevenin and Norton equivalent circuits seen looking into each terminal of the BJT and the FET are described. The application of these circuits to writing by inspection the expressions for gain, input resistance, and output resistance of multistage amplifiers is demonstrated. The application of the circuits to the noise analysis of devices

This paper presents a unified approach for the modeling and analysis of electro-mechanical systems. First, the need for a unified approach is justified in view of the presence of electro-mechanical dynamic coupling. Next, linear graphs are promoted as a useful tool for unified modeling of multi-domain systems, where the existing analogies across ...

Modeling of Islanded Microgrids Using Static and Dynamic Equivalent Thevenin Circuits
2018In this paper, a new modeling method based on the equivalent Thevenin circuit is proposed for inverter-interfaced microgrids. The proposed method approximates the entire network connected to each inverter with an equivalent Thevenin circuit. The equivalent circuit is studied in two forms: static impedance and dynamic second-order RL branch.

Solar Irradiance Estimation of Photovoltaic Module based on Thevenin Equivalent circuit Model
2016Abstract— This Paper presents an accurate method for estimation of solar irradiance of a PV module. The solar irradiance estimation method is derived using the efficient approximation of a PV model based on Thevenin equivalent circuit . The short linear combination of exponential function is used for constructing a mathematical function that is ...
