Modeling Postoperative Pathologic Ileus in Mice: A Simplified and Translational Approach. [PDF]
Simple manipulation of the small intestine for 10 min induces pathological postoperative ileus, as evidenced by reduced gastrointestinal transit and inflammation in the muscular layer. ABSTRACT Background Postoperative Ileus (POI) is an iatrogenic complication characterized by a temporary paralysis of gastrointestinal transit, leading to food ...

One-shot parameter identification of the Thevenin’s model for batteries: Methods and validation [PDF]
Parameter estimation is of foundational importance for various model-based battery management tasks, including charging control, state-of-charge estimation and aging assessment. However, it remains a challenging issue as the existing methods generally depend on cumbersome and time-consuming procedures to extract battery parameters from data.

Thevenin Equivalent of Solar PV Cell Model and Maximum Power Transfer
Photovoltaic (PV) is the conversion of solar energy into DC electrical energy using PV cells. In addition, solar energy is an important renewable energy source. In this study, it is proposed that Thevenin's equivalent PV cell model produces a voltage-current characteristic that is quite representative of the operation of the PV source.

Augmented Thevenin Model for the Harmonic Analysis of Switching Circuits [PDF]
This article addresses the use of the Thevenin equivalent model in the case of switching circuits. An augmented Thevenin model is proposed, based on a well-established augmented equivalent approach for the analysis of periodically switched linear networks.

Electric vehicle battery model identification and state of charge estimation in real world driving cycles [PDF]
This paper describes a study demonstrating a new method of state-of-charge (SoC) estimation for batteries in real-world electric vehicle applications. This method combines realtime model identification with an adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS)

Kalman filter applied to Thevenin’s modeling of a lead-acid battery
<span>This article determines the internal parameters of a battery analyzed from its circuit equivalent, reviewing important information that can help to identify the battery’s state of charge (SOC) and its state of health (SOH). Although models that allow the dynamics of different types of batteries to be identified have been developed, few have

Bridge Average Value Model of Modular Multilevel Converter
The speed-up simulation model of modular multilevel converter (MMC) is the basis for the research of voltage-source converter high-voltage direct-current (VSC-HVDC) system. Among many models, the bridge Thevenin model of MMC is the most widely used.
