Elemental Cu doped Co3O4 thin film for highly sensitive non-enzymatic glucose detection

open access: yesSensing and Bio-Sensing Research, 2019
We report on the non-enzymatic glucose sensing ability of elemental Cu doped Co3O4 thin film deposited on FTO in this study. A facile chemical solution method was used to substitute elemental Cu into the Co3O4 host lattice.

Analysis of Pb(II) ion sensing by crosslinked chitosan thin film using surface plasmon resonance spectroscopy [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The crosslinked chitosan thin film had been studied as a sensor element of surface plasmon resonance (SPR) optical sensor. Crosslinked chitosan solution was synthesized by homogeneous reaction of medium molecular weight chitosan in aqueous acetic acid ...

Thin-film temperature sensor [PDF]

open access: yes, 1974
Sensor measures rapid temperature changes in fluid streams. Sensor withstands contacts with various corrosive fluids, high fluid-flow rates, and turbulences caused by rapid changes in flow rates.

Voltage transients in thin-film InSb Hall sensor

open access: yesResults in Physics, 2017
The work is reached to study temperature transients in thin-film Hall sensors. We experimentally study InSb thin-film Hall sensor. We find transients of voltage with amplitude about 10 μV on the sensor ports after current switching.

FP Interferometric Optic Fiber Humidity Sensor Based on Acrylate AB Adhesive Film

open access: yesPhotonics, 2023
In this paper, an optical fiber humidity sensor based on acrylate AB adhesive film is studied, and two methods—a bubbling method and a dual pressure assisted method—for preparing thin films are proposed. The forms will make the thin film lighter and make

Modeling of temperature sensor built on thin silicon on insulator using advanced carrier-mobility model [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
An analytical device model to study the characteristics of the temperature sensor built on thin silicon film was developed. The device had higher maximum operating temperature due to larger minority-carrier exclusion length.

A Study on Sliding Surface Pressure Measurement of Piston Ring under Reciprocating Condition Using Thin-Film Sensor

open access: yesTribology Online, 2019
In the tribology of mechanical elements using lubricating oil, verification of the dynamic surface pressure distribution during sliding operation is necessary in order to elucidate the sliding condition.

Quenched growth of nanostructured lead thin films on insulating substrates

open access: yes, 2004
Lead island films were obtained via vacuum vapor deposition on glass and ceramic substrates at 80 K. Electrical conductance was measured during vapor condensation and further annealing of the film up to room temperature.

Superconductive thin film makes convenient liquid helium level sensor [PDF]

open access: yes, 1968
Sensor consisting of superconductive film mounted on a dipstick measures the level of liquid helium in a Dewar flask. The sensor is made by depositing a thin film of niobium metal to a thickness of 2000 angstroms on a quartz substrate, which is then ...
