Integrated Ovonic Threshold Switching Selector and Resistive Switching Memory 1S1R in Electrodeposited ZnTe Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This study showcases the first‐ever demonstration of ovonic threshold switching (OTS) and resistive switching (RS) in ZnTe thin films fabricated via a fast, cost‐effective electrodeposition method. By controlling the deposition potential, ZnTe film is tuned to demonstrate OTS or RS behaviors, enabling the implementation of one‐selector‐one‐resistor ...

Spin‐Orbit Photonics with Potato Starch Lenses

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
Native potato starch spherulites are introduced as volumetric optical elements that modulate both dynamic and geometric phases of light. These spherulites focus light and generate optical vortices via spin‐orbit interaction, functioning as polarization‐sensitive microlenses. Their unique radial anisotropy enables applications in vortex beam generation,

Mimicking Symmetry‐Breaking Einstein Ring by Optical Lens

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This article uses an optical lens to emulate the gravitational lensing effect and observe the Einstein ring (ER) patterns. The symmetry‐breaking ER, i.e., Einstein cross, is observed utilizing a rotation‐symmetry‐breaking hemi‐ellipsoid lens. Deformed Einstein cross patterns induced by noncollinearly alignment of the light source–lens–observer are ...

Fluorescence Label‐Free Doxorubicin Sensor Using Polystyrene Sulfonate as a Synthetic Receptor in Whispering Gallery Mode Microresonators

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
The illustration showcases resonant optical microsensors for Doxorubicin (DXR) detection, using polystyrene sulfonate (PSS) as a synthetic receptor. PSS is deposited as a nanometer‐thick layer on fluorescent microparticles via layer‐by‐layer assembly. DXR‐PSS interaction is depicted, highlighting its effect on the sensor's resonant modes.
