Study of the reaction between ammonium thiocyanate and Fe (II) or Fe (III) using infrared spectroscopy: an experiment of prebiotic chemistry

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas, 2010
The prebiotic chemistry studies the reactions that could be played an important role on origins of life on Earth. However, these reactions should be carried out under conditions that existed on the prebiotic Earth.

A New Composition for Co(II)-porphyrin-based Membranes Used in Thiocyanate-selective Electrodes

open access: yesSensors, 2006
In the present paper, the potentiometric response characteristics of ametalloporphyrin-based electrode in o-nitrophenyloctylether (o-NPOE) plasticizedpolyvinyl chloride (PVC) membrane are presented for a set of monovalent anions.

Photo‐Gated Corona Microfluidics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Photo‐gated corona microfluidics decouples optical programming from electric‐field actuation to enable reconfigurable manipulation on open, electrode‐pattern‐free surfaces. Near‐infrared irradiation locally melts paraffin, creating a reversible charge‐relaxation pathway that reconstructs the electric field.

Thiocyanate-Stabilized Pseudo-cubic Perovskite CH(NH2)2PbI3 from Coincident Columnar Defect Lattices [PDF]

open access: yes
α-FAPbI3 (FA+ = CH(NH2)2+) with a cubic perovskite structure is promising for photophysical applications. However, α-FAPbI3 is metastable at room temperature, and it transforms to the δ-phase at a certain period of time at room temperature.

Charge Transport in All‐Inorganic CuInSe2 Nanocrystal Transistors: Linking Material Design and Device Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This work explores how colloidal CuInSe2 nanocrystals form functional field‐effect transistors when their native ligands are replaced with short inorganic species that promote charge transport. By systematically adjusting nanocrystal dimensions, surface treatments, film characteristics, and device architecture, the study maps the resulting electronic ...

Environmental Effects on RRAM Cells Based on 2D Halide Perovskite Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
RRAM offers high speed, scalability, and low power, positioning it as a next‐generation non‐volatile memory. Two‐dimensional halide perovskites show promise due to tunable optoelectronic properties and flexible processing but suffer from environmental sensitivity. This review examines degradation from humidity, temperature, light, and strain, discusses

Leaching of concrete admixtures containing thiocyanate and resin acids [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
There is an increasing concern about the emission of pollutants during the construction and lifetime of buildings. The leaching of concrete admixtures containing thiocyanate and resin acids was studied using standard leaching tests and chemical analysis.
