Perhydrobenzimidazole-2-thione [PDF]
The studied crystal of the title compound, C(7)H(12)N(2)S, is a racemic mixture of two isomers, viz. S,S and R,R. The two isomers share the same position on a mirror plane in the space group P2(1)/m; thus all atoms except one are disordered between two positions in a 1:1 ratio.

Bis(μ-iodo)-tetrakis(O-methyl N-phenylthiocarbamate)-tetraiodo-dibismuth
In order to investigate the coordination chemistry of O-alkyl N-aryl thiocarbamate ligands, BiI3 was reacted with two equivalents of MeOC(=S)N(H)Ph in MeCN solution to afford the dinuclear title compound complexes [{I2Bi(μ2-I)2BiI2}{κ1-MeOC(=S)N(H)Ph}4 ...

1,3-Dibenzylimidazolidine-2-thione [PDF]
In the title compound, C17H18N2S, the imidazolidine ring adopts a twisted conformation. In the crystal, molecules are linked by slipped π–π interactions between the benzene rings of neighbouring molecules [centroid-to-centroid distance = 3.903 (2) Å].

Synthesis of Thiazole-2(3H)-thiones as Antimicrobial Agents Promoted by H3PW12O40-amino-functionalized CdFe12O19@SiO2 Nanocomposite [PDF]
H3PW12O40-amino-functionalized CdFe12O19@SiO2 nanocomposite has been utilized as an effective nanocatalyst for the preparation of thiazole-2(3H)-thiones by three-component reactions of CS2, 2-bromoacetophenone or 2-bromo-1-(4-methoxyphenyl) ethenone, and

Thione photochemistry. Dual pathways in aralkyl thione cyclizations [PDF]
It is shown that aralkyl thiones, which possess an oxygen atom at the δ position in the side chain, can therefore not undergo the preferred δ insertion, and insert at the γ and ε positions. Although ε insertion occurs only from the 1(π,π*) state, γ abstraction (followed by cyclization or cleavage) occurs from both 1(π,π*) and 3(n,π*) states.

Synthetic strategies for preparing BEDT-TTF derivatives functionalised with metal ion binding groups [PDF]
The syntheses of BEDT-TTF (ET) derivatives with potential metal ion binding pyridyl, bipyridyl and terpyridyl groups are achieved either by stepwise construction of the organosulfur core or via reactions of hydroxymethyl-ET for which a cheap and ...
