Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Precursor‐ and solvent‐mediated synthesis yields four Cu3(HHTP)2 morphologies with distinct physicochemical, sorption, and sensing properties toward SO2. Uptake capacities correlate with BET surface area, while sensing performance scales with particle aspect ratio.

Unusual Swelling Behavior of Hydrogels Modified with Spiropyran as Appendage or Crosslinker
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Not so innocent after all—spiropyran crosslinkers in methylenebisacrylamide‐crosslinked poly(acrylamide‐co‐acrylic acid) hydrogels increase crosslinking density, but also, counterintuitively, increase swelling. Charge complexation, cooperative chemo‐mechanical effects, and aggregation may explain these observations.

A Tracer Diffusion Study of Diverse Photo‐Ionic Phenomena in Strontium Titanate
Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Two strong interfacial photo‐ionic effects are demonstrated for the model system SrTiO3 through the application of isotope exchange experiments: UV illumination is found to enhance the oxygen surface exchange coefficient by several orders of magnitude and to depress the surface space‐charge potential substantially.

Advanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.Trap state engineering in inverted organic photodetectors (OPDs) is achieved via combined layer‐by‐layer (LbL) processing and poly(N‐vinylcarbazole) (PVK) incorporation. LbL reduces the trap density while PVK additives gradually shift trap states from shallow band‐edge to deep mid‐gap levels, tailoring the energy distribution.
