Liquid Metals as Initiators of Free‐Radical Polymerization of Hydrogels: A Perspective

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Gallium‐based liquid metals initiate free radical polymerization to form hydrogels without the use of toxic molecular initiators. In addition to initiating polymerization, they can act as crosslinkers, yielding softer, more extensible, and tougher hydrogels than those formed with conventional initiators.

Fluorescent Nanodiamonds Based Theranostic Platform for pH‐Sensitive Drug Delivery and Quantum Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A multifunctional nanodiamond platform enables pH‐triggered Diazoxide (DZX) delivery and quantum sensing of subcellular radical dynamics in triple‐negative breast cancer cells. Diamond relaxometry revealed reduced lysosomal radicals during DZX‐induced mitochondrial radical elevation, providing insights into redox modulation and organelle‐ resolved ...

Global behavior and oscillation of a third order difference equation

Quaestiones Mathematicae. Journal of the South African Mathematical Society, 2020
In this paper, we solve and study the global behavior of the admissible solutions of the difference equation where a, b > 0 and the initial values x −2, x −1, x 0 are real numbers.

Asymptotic behaviour of semi-canonical third-order functional difference equations

Journal of difference equations and applications (Print), 2022
Asymptotic properties of solutions of the third-order functional difference equation where is a semi-canonical difference operator is studied. The main idea is to transform the semi-canonical operator into the canonical form, which simplifies the ...

On a General Non-Linear Difference Equation of Third-Order

Turkish journal of mathematics & computer science
In this paper, we investigate the following general difference equations \begin{equation*} x_{n+1}=h^{-1}\left( h\left( x_{n}\right) \frac{Ah\left( x_{n-1}\right)+Bh\left( x_{n-2}\right) }{Ch\left( x_{n-1}\right)+Dh\left( x_{n-2}\right)}\right) ,\ n ...

On the oscillation of third order nonlinear difference equations

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computing, 2009
The authors obtain some new oscillation criteria for the third-order nonlinear difference equations \[ \Delta^2\left((\Delta x(k))^\alpha/a(k)\right)+q(k)\,f(x[g(k)])=0 \] and \[ \Delta^2\left((\Delta x(k))^\alpha/a(k)\right)+q(k)\,f(x[g(k)])+q(k)\,h(x[\sigma(k)])=0. \] Here, \(\alpha\) is the ratio of two positive odd integers, \(\{a(k)\},\; \{p(k)\}\)
