Dominated Spider Species and the Predation Assessment on Apolygus lucorum (Hemiptera: Miridae) in a Tea Plantation. [PDF]
The mirid bug Apolygus lucorum (Meyer‐Dür) is a major pest affecting tea. Identifying the dominant predatory spiders of the mirid bug can provide a scientific basis for developing biological control technologies. Xysticus ephippiatus demonstrates the greatest potential as a biological control agent against A. lucorum.

The significance of woody vegetation's nonproductive elements for the overwintering of key biocontrol agents in intensively used agricultural areas. [PDF]
Nonproduction woody vegetation provides crucial overwintering habitats for spiders, enhancing biocontrol services in agricultural landscapes. Incorporating these habitats into land management supports ecosystem services and biodiversity. Abstract BACKGROUND Successful overwintering habitats are critical for the long‐term survival of biocontrol agents ...

Mitogenomic Insights on the Phylogeny and Evolution of Lynx Spiders (Araneae, Oxyopidae). [PDF]
This paper studied the phylogenetic relationships among lynx spiders and their mitogenomic evolution, as well as the likely evolutionary pattern of oxyopid maternal egg‐guarding (EG) behaviors. ABSTRACT Lynx spiders (Oxyopidae Thorell, 1869) have high diversity and widespread distribution (nine genera and 447 species currently described worldwide ...
