Dynamics in Thompson's Group F
We describe an explicit relationship between strand diagrams and piecewise-linear functions for elements of Thompson's group F. Using this correspondence, we investigate the dynamics of elements of F, and we show that conjugacy of one-bump functions can be described by a Mather-type invariant.

Import Wheat Tenders and the Effects of the Russian Invasion
ABSTRACT Risk and volatility for many commodities escalated sharply following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, creating numerous uncertainties for trading firms and importers. The purpose of this study is to analyze the bidding behavior in Egyptian wheat import tenders in the pre‐ and post‐invasion periods.

The Algebra of Strand Splitting. II. A Presentation for the Braid Group on One Strand
Presentations are computed for a braided version BV of Thompson's group V and for V itself showing that there is an Artin group/Coxeter group relation between them.

Autonomous AI‐Driven Design for Skin Product Formulations
This review presents a comprehensive closed‐loop framework for autonomous skin product formulation design. By integrating artificial intelligence‐driven experiment selection with automated multi‐tiered assays, the approach shifts development from trial‐and‐error to intelligent optimisation.

Isomorphisms of Brin-Higman-Thompson groups [PDF]
Let $m, m', r, r',t, t'$ be positive integers with $r, r' \ge 2$. Let $L_r$ denote the ring that is universal with an invertible $1 \times r$ matrix. Let $M_m(L_r^{\otimes t})$ denote the ring of $m \times m$ matrices over the tensor product of $t$ copies of $L_r$.

For virtual knot theory, the virtual braid group was defined by generalizing the braid group. It was proved that any virtual link can be obtained by the closure of a virtual braid. On the other hand, due to work by Jones et al., it is known that any (oriented) link is constructed from an element of Thompson's group $F$.

Abstract Our general interest is in global trade loss from livestock pathogens, specifically exports. We adopt a causal inference approach that considers animal disease outbreaks over time as non‐staggered binary treatments with the potential for switching in (infection) and out of treatment (recovery) within the sample period. The outcome evolution of
