Two new species of Amorphophallus (Araceae: Thomsonieae) from Jawa, Indonesia

Amorphophallus rosidii and A. raungensis are described as two new species found in the eastern part of East Jawa Province, Indonesia. Morphologically they resemble other Indonesian species like A. asper. On Jawa, the generally most similar species to both is A. annulifer but both have a much narrower appendix and no annulus at the base of the appendix.

A new species of the genus Amorphophallus (Thomsonieae, Aroidea, Araceae) from the coastal area of Central Vietnam

Amorphophallus khanhhoaensis is described as a new species from central Vietnam. This species is morphologically similar to and therefore compared with A. cicatricifer (eastern Thailand and Myanmar), A. umbrinus (Vietnam), and A. ferruginosus (Laos). An updated key to the Vietnamese species of Amorphophallus is provided.
