Comparison of Two Dye Marking Methods for Preoperative Localization of Pulmonary Nodules Guided by Electromagnetic Navigation Bronchoscopy

open access: yesThoracic Cancer, Volume 17, Issue 5, March 2026.
Electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy‐guided preoperative localization using either indocyanine green or methylene blue enabled accurate and safe resection of pulmonary nodules. Compared with methylene blue, indocyanine green was associated with a shorter operative target time, suggesting improved workflow efficiency in this retrospective cohort ...

A fully transanal endoscopic approach for large post‐anastomotic high rectovaginal fistulas: An IDEAL stage 1 technical note

open access: yesColorectal Disease, Volume 28, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Background High rectovaginal fistulas (RVFs) remain a challenging condition, often requiring transabdominal surgery associated with significant morbidity, particularly in patients with hostile abdomens and multiple prior pelvic operations. Minimally invasive, video‐assisted and sphincter‐preserving alternatives have been described for mid and ...

Effects of a 6‐week dynamic mobilisation exercise program on thoracolumbosacral kinematics in sports horses

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, Volume 38, Issue 3, Page e142-e157, March 2026.
Summary Background Dynamic mobilisation exercises (DMEs) are prescribed to support locomotor function, but knowledge of their longitudinal effect on thoracolumbosacral (TLS) spinal kinematics is limited. Objectives To evaluate the effect of a 6‐week DME program on TLS kinematics during standing reflexes, walking and trotting.

An Integrated Evaluation Framework for Adult Heart Regeneration

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 30, Issue 6, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Myocardial infarction (MI) remains a primary global cause of mortality due to irreversible cardiomyocyte loss. While promoting endogenous regeneration offers a highly promising therapy, its validation is critically hindered by the lack of standardised, comprehensive methodologies for quantitative assessment.

Follow‐up is not justified in patients with typical lung carcinoids without lymph node involvement treated with curative intent: A Danish Multi‐ENETS Center of Excellence Study

open access: yesJournal of Neuroendocrinology, Volume 38, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Typical carcinoids (TC) are neuroendocrine malignancies of the lung with low risk of recurrence and a favorable prognosis. It is unclear whether lymph node status and tumor size affect the recurrence risk. Following radical surgery, current guidelines recommend comprehensive follow‐up including regular computed tomography (CT) imaging.

Effects of Bracing Combined With Tele‐Rehabilitation‐Guided Family Physiotherapeutic Scoliosis‐Specific Exercises on Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis

open access: yesOrthopaedic Surgery, Volume 18, Issue 3, Page 511-522, March 2026.
For adolescents with idiopathic scoliosis, tele‐rehabilitation‐guided physiotherapeutic scoliosis‐specific exercises combined with the Chêneau brace can effectively improve the degree of spinal deformity. This new strategy may be a reliable and efficient conservative treatment.
