ABSTRACT This study characterized the long‐term pharmacokinetic profile of a 1% fipronil pour‐on formulation in Nellore bulls under field conditions. Seventeen animals received a single topical dose (1 mg/kg), and plasma concentrations of fipronil and its metabolites (sulfone and desulfinyl) were monitored for 175 days using LC–MS/MS.

This study compares the biomechanical effects of three anterior fixation systems in thoracolumbar surgery—HXTL, NHXTL, and Medtronic's CD Horizon ANTERIOR. Finite element analysis evaluates stress and displacement across vertebral bodies and support structures under varying load conditions. Results indicate the HXTL system minimizes nail–rod stress yet

There is a close correlation between C‐VBQ scores and the cervical deep extensors, deep flexors, and overall paraspinal muscles relative cross‐sectional area (RCSA) and degree of fat infiltration (DFF). The C‐VBQ score is a comprehensive parameter reflecting the quality of cervical bone and paraspinal muscles.

Chondroblastoma of the thoracic vertebra
Journal of Clinical Neuroscience, 2001A 48-year-old patient with interscapular pain was admitted to our clinic. MRI revealed a mass infiltrating the second thoracic vertebra and adjacent structures. No other clinical manifestations were observed in general examination. The patient underwent surgery and subtotal removal was achieved while anterior and posterior stabilisations were performed.

Thoracic vertebrae fracture: Is it an indicator of abdominal injury?
American Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2020PURPOSE Traumatic vertebral fracture accounts for 10-15% of trauma related admissions. While the correlation between lumbar vertebral fractures and abdominal injuries is well established, the relationship between thoracic vertebral fractures (TVF) and ...

Biomechanical allometry in hominoid thoracic vertebrae
Journal of Human Evolution, 2009Considerable differences in spinal morphology have been noted between humans and other hominoids. Although comparative analyses of the external morphology of vertebrae have been performed, much less is known regarding variations in internal morphology (density) and biomechanical performance among humans and closely related non-human primates.
