Black Pleural Nodules Caused by Capillary Haemangioma
Thoracoscopy for undiagnosed pleural effusion revealed multiple pea‐sized black nodules over the parietal pleura. They were histologically diagnosed with capillary haemangioma, a rare cause of pleural nodules. The study included 108 patients admitted to Peking University Third Hospital from January 2015 to December 2025. The most common surgical combination was wedge resection + wedge resection (44.4%). The mean postoperative hospital stay was 6.55 ± 3.03 days. Severe complications Less than 5%. No 30‐day mortality or unplanned secondary surgery.
