OrnithologyAbstract We assessed correlations between speciation rate and bill morphology in an ecologically diverse and continental-scale songbird radiation, the tanagers (Thraupidae). Our analyses showed that bill size, shape, and their evolutionary rates are not correlated with speciation rate.
