A Computational Method for NMR-Constrained Protein Threading
Journal of Computational Biology, 2000Protein threading provides an effective method for fold recognition and backbone structure prediction. But its application is currently limited due to its level of prediction accuracy and scope of applicability. One way to significantly improve its usefulness is through the incorporation of underconstrained (or partial) NMR data.

Thread-associative memory for multicore and multithreaded computing
Proceedings of the 2006 international symposium on Low power electronics and design - ISLPED '06, 2006Presented in this paper is the thread-associative memory microarchitecture for multicore and multithreaded processor design. Memory contention among concurrent threads in chip multithreaded processing has become a limiting factor for performance improvement.

Thread computing for Miller's algorithm of pairing
2009 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Consumer Electronics, 2009This paper shows an improvement of Miller's algorithm so as to be efficient for thread programming by using divisor theorem. Then, this paper implements a thread program of the improved Miller's algorithm by which it is shown that the proposed technique is more efficient than ordinary Miller's algorithm.

A Curriculum Concept: The Computer Thread
Journal of Educational Technology Systems, 1986The era when one or two isolated computer courses are a standard part of many curricula is rapidly drawing to a close. More and more educators are recognizing that the growing use of computers in nearly every aspect of life must be reflected in education.

Threading a sophomore computer animation curriculum
ACM SIGGRAPH Computer Graphics, 2001One of the major problems facing educators who teach computer animation is how to balance the technical and conceptual skills required to produce effective computer animation in a manner that is holistic. Often a single class cannot deal with both the conceptual and technical issues involved.

Following the thread in computer conferences
Computers & Education, 2001Abstract Computer conferencing systems allow students to discuss their ideas and learn from each other. However, the asynchronous nature of these discussions can result in large and complex collections of messages. Threading facilities help students to cope with this by structuring their discussions into parallel ‘conversations’. This paper discusses
