Thread computing for Miller's algorithm of pairing
2009 IEEE 13th International Symposium on Consumer Electronics, 2009This paper shows an improvement of Miller's algorithm so as to be efficient for thread programming by using divisor theorem. Then, this paper implements a thread program of the improved Miller's algorithm by which it is shown that the proposed technique is more efficient than ordinary Miller's algorithm.

Thread-associative memory for multicore and multithreaded computing
Proceedings of the 2006 international symposium on Low power electronics and design - ISLPED '06, 2006Presented in this paper is the thread-associative memory microarchitecture for multicore and multithreaded processor design. Memory contention among concurrent threads in chip multithreaded processing has become a limiting factor for performance improvement.

A Computational Method for NMR-Constrained Protein Threading [PDF]
Protein threading provides an effective method for fold recognition and backbone structure prediction. But its application is currently limited due to its level of prediction accuracy and scope of applicability. One way to significantly improve its usefulness is through the incorporation of underconstrained (or partial) NMR data.

Massively Parallel Analog Computing: Ariadne’s Thread Was Made of Memristors
IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computing, 2018This paper explores memristive grids where emergent computation arises through collective device interactions. Computing efficiency of the grids is studied in several scenarios and new composite memristive structures are utilized in shortest path and ...

Threaded code for laboratory computers
Software: Practice and Experience, 1978AbstractAn extension of the threaded code technique has been developed. This new development has been used to convert a typical minicomputer into a threaded code machine by the addition of a simple, fast interpreter implemented in microcode. When made directly available to the programmer, the threaded code programming technique is a very convenient and
