Slc44a2 Deficiency Unveils an IFN‐I–Dependent Feedback Control of pDC Egress

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Working model of SLC44A2‐mediated maintenance of pDC homeostasis. This model illustrates two central mechanisms by which SLC44A2 regulates pDC homeostasis: (1) SLC44A2 limits IFN‐I production by exporting amino acids (T, N, Q), thereby preventing spontaneous pDC activation.

A Smart Fluid‐Hydraulic System Based on MRF Valve Control and Its Application in Flexible Grasping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a smart fluid hydraulic system using MRF valve control for flexible gripping. An MRF‐MSV with an integrated excitation coil and micro‐textured damping channels is designed and validated; micro‐texturing increases hydraulic resistance. Coupled with a soft actuator, the MRF‐MSV enables dynamic bending and grasping.

Investigation of the Effects of Austenitizing Heat Treatment on Energy Consumption of Pipe Threading

open access: yes, 2019
Energy consumption is an important part of the production cost of mass production industrialenterprises. The casting, heat treatment and threading processes involved in the industrialproduction of fittings result in high energy consumption. In serial production, the threading ofpipe fittings is carried out using high torque and low speed.
