Three Dimensional Modelling of Turbulence

2022
Effect of turbulence modeling on the simulation of wind induced circulation patterns in coastal waters, has been investigated. Eddy viscosities are calculated by a two equation k-epsilon turbulence model, and by a two equation k-w turbulence model, that are commonly applied in modeling of coastal transport processes.

The Three-Dimensional Modeling of Femur

2013 IEEE 9th International Conference on Mobile Ad-hoc and Sensor Networks, 2013
Aiming at a femoral entity, a three-dimensional modeling method is presented. Using CT technology to scan the femur, the extraction method and smoothing process method of the inner and outer contour lines are studied. The inner and outer contour lines are fitted to surfaces by NX7.0, and the three-dimensional model of the femur can be obtained by ...

A three-dimensional model of vasculogenesis

Biomaterials, 2009
Postnatal bone marrow contains various subpopulations of resident and circulating stem cells (HSCs, BMSCs/MSCs) and progenitor cells (MAPCs, EPCs) that are capable of differentiating into one or more of the cellular components of the vascular bed in vitro as well as contribute to postnatal neo-vascularization in vivo.

Steganography for Three-Dimensional Models

2006
We present a data hiding algorithm for 3D models. It is based on a substitutive procedure in the spatial domain. We propose a Virtual Multi-Level Embed Procedure to embed information based on shifting the message point by its virtual geometrical property, the order of which is assigned by principal component analysis.

Three-Dimensional Model of Heparin

1975
Heparin is best known for its blood anticoagulant activity, and considerable effort has been devoted to determining the structural features responsible for this activity. It has been widely accepted that the anticoagulant activity is related to the degree of sulfation and the molecular conformation (3, 6).

CHAOS IN A THREE-DIMENSIONAL CANCER MODEL

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2010
In this study, we develop a new dynamical model of cancer growth, which includes the interactions between tumour cells, healthy tissue cells, and activated immune system cells, clearly leading to chaotic behavior. We explain the biological relevance of our model and the ways in which it differs from the existing ones.

Importance of Three-Dimensional Modeling in Cranioplasty

Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2019
Abstract Cranioplasty is a reconstruction operation made to protect intracranial structures. It is applied for the closure of bone defects occurring due to causes such as trauma, tumor, infection, and infarct. Many different products changing from autologous bone grafts to synthetic materials are used for cranioplasty.
