Direct control strategy for a four-level three-phase flying-capacitor inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
A direct predictive control strategy is proposed for a three-phase four-level flying-capacitor (FC) inverter in this paper. The balancing of the FC voltages, a challenge in applications with small capacitors and low switching frequencies, is done without

P-resonant control for the neutral point of three phase inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
In this project, a Proportional resonant (PR) current controller is proposed to maintain a balanced neutral point for a three-phase four wire inverter, which can be used in microgrid applications. The neutral-point circuit consists of a conventional

LCCT‐derived three‐level three‐phase inverters

open access: yesIET Power Electronics, 2017
Solutions for a family of the novel three‐level neutral‐point‐clamped (NPC) inductor‐capacitor‐capacitor‐transformer (LCCT)‐derived three‐phase inverters are described and compared. Component design guidelines and steady state analysis, current and voltage waveforms are given. The authors’ simulation results confirm the theoretical predictions.
