A new interleaved three-level inverter
The 2nd International Symposium on Power Electronics for Distributed Generation Systems, 2010A new interleaved three-level inverter with reduced ripple current of filter inductor is proposed. This inverter consists of six power switches, including two interleaved power switches at the top location and the bottom location separately, and two double frequency power switches at the middle locations.

2006 12th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference, 2006Novel method of synchronous pulsewidth modulation (PWM) has been disseminated for control of cascaded neutral-point-clamped inverters feeding open-end winding induction motor drive with single dc voltage source. Control algorithms provide in this case full elimination of the common-mode voltages both in each inverter and in the load.

Implementing a three-level inverter with microcontroller

The switching technique was the sine-triangle modulation. This technique is based on comparison of a desired sine voltage with two triangular carriers which frequency is very high. Using zero voltage switching reduces the power losses of the inverter switching devices, however it is realized that the resonant circuit, introduced to obtain the zero voltage switching, is a major source of power loss that must be limited.
