SVM algorithm of three-level NPC inverter

On the basis of presenting the principles of space vector modulation (svm) of three-level neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter, an approach to implementation of SVM is proposed. The dwell times of vectors are calculated according to the volt-second balancing. A triangle is adopted to compare with three switching points.

Nine-switch three-level z-source inverter

A new configuration of three-level z-source inverter has been proposed. The proposed inverter is based on nine-switch configuration reduces the number of switches compared to other configurations while retaining their attractive capabilities such as voltage boosting and low harmonic content.

This paper proposes a new 3 level common mode voltage eliminated inverter using an inverter structure formed by cascading a H-Bridge with a three-level flying capacitor inverter. The three phase space vector polygon formed by this configuration and the polygon formed by the common-mode eliminated states have been discussed.

Novel method of synchronized pulse width modulation (PWM) has been disseminated for control of cascaded neutral-point-clamped inverters feeding open-end winding induction motor drive with single dc voltage source. Control algorithms provide in this case full elimination of the common-mode voltages both in each inverter and in the load.

A new soft switching three level T-type inverter
