FPGA-based PWM for three-phase SEPIC rectifier

open access: yesIEICE Electronics Express, 2010
This paper presents the design and implementation of synchronous pulse-width modulation (PWM) for a three-phase three-switch Single Ended Primary Inductance Converter (SEPIC). The PWM switching patterns are generated from an Altera Cyclone II field programmable gate array (FPGA) device. Two types of carrier waveforms are used with two 60°sine waveforms,

A plug-and-play ripple mitigation approach for DC-links in hybrid systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
© 2016 IEEE.In this paper, a plug-and-play ripple mitigation technique is proposed. It requires only the sensing of the DC-link voltage and can operate fully independently to remove the low-frequency voltage ripple. The proposed technique is nonintrusive

Review of Memristors for In‐Memory Computing and Spiking Neural Networks

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Memristors uniquely enable energy‐efficient, brain‐inspired computing by acting as both memory and synaptic elements. This review highlights their physical mechanisms, integration in crossbar arrays, and role in spiking neural networks. Key challenges, including variability, relaxation, and stochastic switching, are discussed, alongside emerging ...

Bio‐to‐Robot Transfer of Fish Sensorimotor Dynamics via Interpretable Model

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates how a biologically interpretable model trained on real‐fish muscle activity can accurately predict the motion of a robotic fish. By linking real‐fish sensorimotor dynamics with robotic fish, the work offers a transparent, data‐efficient framework for transferring biological intelligence to bioinspired robotic systems.
