A study of a queueing system with three-phase service

Operations Research Letters, 1993
The paper considers a single server which alternates between a batch service queue and an individual service queue. The service times are generally distributed with the batch service queue having two phases of service, the first following a non-gated protocol and the second a gated protocol.

Three-phase systems

2019
The chapter begins with a discussion of three-phase circuits and the analysis of three-phase sources. It goes on to consider the analysis of Y-Y and Y-Δ systems, and concludes by discussing power in balanced three-phase systems.

Power quality analyzer for three phase systems

2013 International Conference on Renewable Energy Research and Applications (ICRERA), 2013
In this study, a MATLAB based simulator is designed which can be used for education in power quality and harmonics. The designed simulator is user-interactive and also can be used in undergraduate and graduate laboratory studies. The harmonic components that are entered by the user are visualized graphically.

Impact of three-phase system

2018
This chapter focuses on the limitations and impacting factors of switching performance of WBG devices in a three-phase power converter, and their influences on the accuracy of the dynamic characterization results based on the conventional DPT.

Balanced three-phase systems

1996
A three-phase supply system is produced by three sets of windings on an alternator, the windings being displaced from one another around the alternator rotor by 120°. Three-phase systems have a number of advantages over single-phase systems including the fact that, for a given amount of power transmitted, the total power loss is less than in three ...

Three-Phase Electrical Systems

2020
Most of the AC machines are constructed with three-phase windings in the stator. The compression and analysis of AC machines can be complicated in three-phase systems, especially when there is a moving part, such as the rotor, which, depending on its position relative to the stator, the results of the equations can take different values.
