Some characteristics of three porcine adenoviruses

Archiv fr die gesamte Virusforschung, 1967
Three strains of cloned porcine adenoviruses (25RCl, 6618Cl and A47C1) were shown to be serologically distinct in cross neutralization tests with specific antisera prepared in rabbits. They were not neutralized by reference antisera against the known human adenoviruses. Neutralizing antibodies to each of the three serotypes were demonstrated in samples

Chromosome characteristics of three Coptis species

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2010
In the present paper, three Coptis species, collected from Sichuan and Chongqing, China, were used for karyotypic analyses. The results indicated that both C. chinensis and C. omeinensis were diploid with chromosome 2n = 2x = 18, and C. deltoidea was an autotriploid with chromosomes 2n = 3x = 27, which explained why this species was morphologically so ...

Augmented Reality in Education: Three Unique Characteristics from a User's Perspective

IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics, 2019
In this paper, three technological characteristics of augmented reality (AR) are reframed from a perceptual, user’s perspective and discussed concerning their potential for education and in the context of research on technology-supported learning.

On weight three blocks of symmetric groups in characteristic three

The Quarterly Journal of Mathematics, 2002
This work is one of a number of recent works aimed at investigating the representation theory of blocks of group algebras \(k{\mathfrak S}_{n}\) of symmetric groups over fields of prime characteristic. Here the author is interested in blocks of weight three in characteristic three. By work of \textit{J. Scopes} [J. Algebra 142, No.

Three‐Dimensional Sonographic Characteristics of Deep Endometriosis

Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, 2009
Objective. The purpose of this presentation is to investigate the potential role of 3‐dimensional (3D) sonography in the assessment of deep endometriosis. Methods. Cases of deep endometriosis are presented to illustrate the spectrum of appearances obtained with 3D sonography.

Three‐Dimensional MXenes for Supercapacitors: A Review

Small Methods, 2022
Supercapacitors have the characteristics of high power density and long cycle life, but the low energy density limits their further development. The 2D transitional metal carbides/nitrides (MXenes) show great application prospects in the field of ...

Three classes of permutation quadrinomials in odd characteristic

Cryptography and Communications, 2023
Let \(p\) be a prime and \(q\) a power of \(p\). Let \(\mathbb{F}_q\) be the finite field with \(q\) elements and \(\mathbb{F}_q[x]\) the ring of polynomials in \(x\) over \(\mathbb{F}_q\). A polynomial \(f\in \mathbb{F}_q[x]\) is called a \textit{permutation polynomial} (PP) of \(\mathbb{F}_q\) if the associated mapping \(x\mapsto f(x)\) from ...

LIE SOLVABLE GROUP ALGEBRAS OF DERIVED LENGTH THREE IN CHARACTERISTIC THREE

Journal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2012
In this paper we provide a characterization of Lie solvable group algebras of derived length three over a field of characteristic three when G is a non-2-Engel group with abelian commutator subgroup.

Three-dimensional spatial characteristics of caloric nystagmus

Experimental Brain Research, 2000
We investigated the three-dimensional spatial characteristics of caloric nystagmus during excitation and inhibition of the lateral semicircular canal in five normal human subjects. Each subject was repositioned in 45 degrees steps at 1-min intervals such that the right lateral semicircular canal plane was reoriented in pitch, from 135 degrees backwards

Comparative Characteristics of Three Cytomegaloviruses from Rodents

American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1975
SUMMARY One cytomegalovirus isolate from the vole (Microtus arvalis) and 2 cytomegalovirus strains from mice (Apodemus sylvaticus and Mus musculus) were compared. The rates of inactivation of these 3 viruses were virtually identical after each of 3 treatments: Repeated cycles of freezing and thawing, ultrasonic vibration, and exposure to trypsin and ...
