Three-dimensional Ising critical behavior in R0.6Sr0.4MnO3(R=Pr,Nd) manganites [PDF]
Magnetic as well as calorimetric measurements have been performed on single crystal samples of Pr0.6Sr0.4MnO3 and Nd0.6Sr0.4MnO3 to develop a complete critical behavior study of the paramagnetic to ferromagnetic transition in both manganites.

Three-Dimensional Kaleidoscopic Imaging [PDF]
Planar mirror systems are capable of generating many virtual views, yet their practical use for multi-view imaging has been hindered by limiting configurations that enable view decomposition. In this work we lift those restrictions.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Three-dimensional Echocardiography
Although two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE) was a major step forward for the noninvasive assessment of cardiac structure and function, the diagnosis of complex disorders remained a difficult mental conceptualization process. In addition, the measurement of left ventricular volume and function, the most common referral reason for echocardiography ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

THREE DIMENSIONAL ILLUSTRATING – 2D-3D TRANSFORM [PDF]
. We present in this paper a special computer technique, which can lead us to opportunities of making three dimensional pictures from two dimensional pictures (2D-3D conversion) and we give some examples of illustrating this.

PICALM::MLLT10 translocated leukemia
This comprehensive review of PICALM::MLLT10 translocated acute leukemia provides an in‐depth review of the structure and function of CALM, AF10, and the fusion oncoprotein (1). The multifaceted molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis, including nucleocytoplasmic shuttling (2), epigenetic modifications (3), and disruption of endocytosis (4), are then ...

Comparison of algorithms for converting 3D objects into rolls, using a spiral coordinate system
The definition of a point’s location in volume by Cartesian, spherical and cylindrical coordinate systems requires three dimensions (x, y, z), (r, θ, ϕ) and (ρ, ϕ, z) accordingly.
