InAs-based quantum cascade lasers grown on on-axis (001) silicon substrate
We present InAs/AlSb quantum cascade lasers (QCLs) monolithically integrated on an on-axis (001) Si substrate. The lasers emit near 8 μm with threshold current densities of 0.92–0.95 kA/cm2 at 300 K for 3.6-mm-long devices and operate in pulsed mode up ...

Function‐driven design of a surrogate interleukin‐2 receptor ligand
Interleukin (IL)‐2 signaling can be achieved and precisely fine‐tuned through the affinity, distance, and orientation of the heterodimeric receptors with their ligands. We designed a biased IL‐2 surrogate ligand that selectively promotes effector T and natural killer cell activation and differentiation. Interleukin (IL) receptors play a pivotal role in

Firms Bunching Response to Indonesian Income Tax Threshold
Presumptive tax policy is implemented internationally in common in order to ease the SME’s tax administration. Firms have an opportunity to respond or not to a certain tax policy in order to get lower tax burdens.

Fault-tolerant linear optics quantum computation by error-detecting quantum state transfer [PDF]
A scheme for linear optical implementation of fault-tolerant quantum computation is proposed, which is based on an error-detecting code. Each computational step is mediated by transfer of quantum information into an ancilla system embedding error ...

This study explores salivary RNA for breast cancer (BC) diagnosis, prognosis, and follow‐up. High‐throughput RNA sequencing identified distinct salivary RNA signatures, including novel transcripts, that differentiate BC from healthy controls, characterize histological and molecular subtypes, and indicate lymph node involvement.

Bridging the gap: Multi‐stakeholder perspectives of molecular diagnostics in oncology
Although molecular diagnostics is transforming cancer care, implementing novel technologies remains challenging. This study identifies unmet needs and technology requirements through a two‐step stakeholder involvement. Liquid biopsies for monitoring applications and predictive biomarker testing emerge as key unmet needs. Technology requirements vary by
