白鹮（Threskiornis aethiopicus）,别名黑朱鹭,俗称勾勾嘴,为中型涉禽;隶属于鹳形目（Ciconiiformes）,鹮科（Threskiornithidae）。由于其体态秀美,嘴形奇异而具有较高的观赏价值。近年来,由于数量不断下降,已被列为国家重点保护鸟类。笔者于1983年春在扎龙自然保护区的部分地区进行了调查,现将结果报告如下: 一、分布及栖息地白鹮的分布很广,在世界上分布于非洲、印度、斯里兰卡、日本及我国;在我国东北北部繁殖,越冬于长江流域以南地区。在扎龙自然保护区为繁殖鸟。
