Eggs of the pest caterpillar Trichoplusia ni were exposed to sublethal concentrations of the bioinsecticide spinosyn. In the hatched caterpillars, genes encoding proteins involved in detoxification strategies were upregulated. Trichogramma brassicae wasps that emerged from these eggs had larger tibia length and wing area, suggesting higher performance.
