A 25-year-old woman presented to the ED with an acute onset of haemoptysis preceding sore throat of 3-day duration. There was neither recent foreign body ingestion nor throat trauma. She denied underlying haematological disorders. On clinical assessment, she was febrile with otherwise stable vital signs.

A Wearable Skin-Like Ultra-Sensitive Artificial Graphene Throat.
ACS Nano, 2019Most mute people cannot speak due to their vocal cord lesion. Herein, in order to assist mute people to "speak", we proposed a wearable skin-like ultra-sensitive artificial graphene throat (WAGT) that integrated both sound/motion detection and sound ...

Pore-throat sizes in sandstones, tight sandstones, and shales
, 2009Pore-throat sizes in siliciclastic rocks form a continuum from the submillimeter to the nanometer scale. That continuum is documented in this article using previously published data on the pore and pore-throat sizes of conventional reservoir rocks, tight-

About 10% of people present to primary healthcare services with sore throat each year. The causative organisms of sore throat may be bacteria (most commonly Streptococcus) or viruses (typically rhinovirus), although it is difficult to distinguish bacterial from viral infections clinically. We conducted a systematic review and aimed to answer the ...
