High-Throughput SuperSAGE

2010
SuperSAGE is a method of digital gene expression profiling that allows isolation of 26-bp tag fragments from expressed transcripts. Combined with the ultrahigh-throughput sequencing technologies, SuperSAGE enables analysis of millions of transcripts with lower cost and reduced effort and time.

Two-dimensional materials from high-throughput computational exfoliation of experimentally known compounds

Nature Nanotechnology, 2016
Two-dimensional (2D) materials have emerged as promising candidates for next-generation electronic and optoelectronic applications. Yet, only a few dozen 2D materials have been successfully synthesized or exfoliated. Here, we search for 2D materials that

The myth of throughput

ACM SIGUCCS Newsletter, 1975
Twelve months ago, I outlined to you the priorities which I proposed for my assignment to the newly created position of Director of Users Services at Michigan State University. Our university has not yet made a long-term appointment to that position, but Dr.

High-throughput mouse phenotyping

Methods, 2011
Comprehensive phenotyping will be required to reveal the pleiotropic functions of a gene and to uncover the wider role of genetic loci within diverse biological systems. The challenge will be to devise phenotyping approaches to characterise the thousands of mutants that are being generated as part of international efforts to acquire a mutant for every ...

High-Throughput Genotyping

2007
There are many genetic variations in the human genome. The most abundant form of genetic variation is the single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). SNPs are thought to be responsible for observable differences in biological processes among individuals of a population. Genetic association studies utilizing SNP markers are expected to allow identification of

High-Throughput Replica Optics

SPIE Proceedings, 1988
Some simple formulas are derived to calculate the maximum effective area that can be obtained by Kirkpatrick-Baez, Wolter, and conical x-ray telescopes in those cases for which that area is limited by the focal length. Electroforming and epoxy replication techniques are reviewed, and the design and production technology chosen for the high throughput ...
