Macromolecular Rapid Communications, EarlyView.Isopropenyl aromatic comonomers, in particular novel 2,7‐diisopropenylfluorene and 2,8‐diisopropenyldibenzothiophene, synthesized by sustainable, facile, single‐step SMCCR from available brominated substrates are exploited in the Inverse Vulcanization process to obtain functional Sulfur‐rich macromolecular materials.
