A challenge for wild plant conservation is the rising incidence of plant pathogens that are difficult to interdict, contain and manage. Invasive, fast‐moving, broad‐spectrum pathogens impose societal costs through losses of intrinsically valuable wild biodiversity, ecosystem function, current and potential genetic and biological assets, culturally ...

Understanding how infection timing drives disease is essential for the development of fungicide resistance management strategies. For blackleg disease of canola, all infection timings can contribute to the following generation, therefore all fungicide applications have the ability to select for resistance.

Sublethal herbicide exposure alters cotton susceptibility to aphid infestation
Sublethal herbicide exposure altered cotton susceptibility to aphids. Aphid severity was highest when applications occurred at early vegetative stages and declined as the crop matured. Molecular screening of 140 field‐collected Myzus persicae aphids revealed target‐site mutations L1014F, M918L, M918T, and L932F in the sodium channel and S431F in Ace2. The M918L mutation was the primary driver of high pyrethroid (cypermethrin) resistance, while S431F served as a definitive marker for carbamate (pirimicarb) resistance.

The continuing significance of chiral agrochemicals
In the time frame 2018–2023, around 43% of the 35 chiral agrochemicals introduced to the market (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, acaricides, and nematicides) contain one or more stereogenic centers in the molecule, and almost 69% of them have been marketed as racemic mixtures of enantiomers or stereoisomers.

ABSTRACT The Marias River flows from Glacier National Park through northcentral Montana, and into the Missouri River. Annual flows gradually declined from 1902 to 2024 (~3.2%/decade) and the 1952 Tiber Dam and Lake Elwell reservoir were operated to attenuate peak flows and stabilize downstream flows year‐round.
