Recent investigations have broadened the spectrum of biochemical influence of glucagon in animals and man. We studied effects the of glucagon on sheep thyroid adenylcyclase, endocytosis, glucose oxidation and phospholipogenesis in vitro,and on mouse thyroid radioiodine uptake and release in vivo.
