ABSTRACT Frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) is a primary lymphocytic cicatricial alopecia, most commonly affecting postmenopausal women, characterized by progressive frontotemporal hairline recession and eyebrow loss. Hair repigmentation (canities reversal) is an extremely rare event, especially in older individuals with long‐standing white hair.

Tracheostomy Dependence in Hypopharyngeal Cancer: Comparative Prognostic Impact of CRT Versus Surgery

Patients with long‐term tracheostomy dependence exhibited the poorest prognosis and the highest recurrence rates. Emergency tracheostomy was identified as a strong predictor of long‐term dependence. Upfront surgery may be more appropriate for patients with impaired baseline laryngeal function.

Dysphagia Characteristics in High Versus Low Vagal Unilateral Vocal Fold Paralysis

High vagal etiology of unilateral vocal fold paralysis (UVFP) is linked to greater swallowing dysfunction compared to low vagal etiology of UVFP, with higher rates of premature spillage, pharyngeal residue, penetration and aspiration on instrumental swallow assessment; and higher prevalence of diet and behavioral modifications recommended.
