Low‐dimensional halide perovskite thin films, (BA)2(MA)n‐1PbnBr3n+1 (n = 1, 2), exhibit both semiconducting and ferroelectric properties, enabling mechanical and light energy harvesting. Using Cr/Cr₂O₃ or PCBM as barrier layers ensures reproducible ferroelectricity.

Optical Control of Ferroelectric Imprint in BiFeO3
Above‐bandgap irradiation at room temperature enables on‐demand optical control of defect‐driven built‐in electric fields in BiFeO₃ thin films, fabricated via scalable, chemical spray pyrolysis. These fields, otherwise “frozen‐in,” can cause severe device degradation, including non‐switchable polarization, dead layers near interfaces, and polarization ...

Short Term Oxidation of a Ti-46Al-8Nb Alloy at 700°C in Air [PDF]
Thermogravimetry was used to study the oxidation behaviour of a lamellar Ti46Al8Nb alloy during holding at 700°C in synthetic air. A parabolic plot of the oxidation kinetics shows three different regimes over the total duration (50 h) of the tests ...

Microstructural Control and Alloy Design of the Ti-Al-Nb-W-B Alloys [PDF]
The TiAl alloys have been considered as promising candidates for structural-materials applications at around 8000C. The major concern for the structural use of the TiAl alloys is their low ductility and poor fracture resistance at ambient temperature ...

Structural characterization of the scale formed on a Ti–46Al–8Nb alloy oxidised in air at 700 C [PDF]
The structures of the oxide scale formed on a lamellar (gþ a2) Ti46Al8Nb alloy after heat-treatment in air at 700 C for 50 and 1000 h have been compared.

The replacement of the anodic OER in CO2RR with energy‐saving methanol oxidation reaction and the creation of a favorable microenvironment through interfacial Cl− ions enable concurrent formate production at industrial‐level current densities. Abstract The efficient electrocatalytic conversion of CO2 to formate is often impeded by the high energy ...

Fracture toughness of TiAl-Cr-Nb-Mo alloys produced via centrifugal casting [PDF]
Fracture toughness of a TiAl base intermetallic alloy has been investigated at room temperature. The Ti-48Al-2.5Cr-0.5Nb-2Mo (at. %) alloy produced via centrifugal casting exhibits fine nearly lamellar microstructures, consisting mainly of fine lamellar ...
