Bioinspired Crossmodal Tactile Sensory Nerve for High‐Accurate Object Recognition
An artificial crossmodal sensory neuron system (ACSNS) that combines a complementary memristor with high‐sensitivity pressure–temperature bimodal sensors, which integrate tactile perception, information storage, and neuromorphic computing. With the aid of machine learning, this ACSNS presents an improved accuracy of 96.67% in recognizing temperatures ...

Precision therapies for genetic epilepsies in 2025: Promises and pitfalls
Abstract By targeting the underlying etiology, precision therapies offer an exciting paradigm shift to improve the stagnant outcomes of drug‐resistant epilepsies, including developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. Unlike conventional antiseizure medications (ASMs) which only treat the symptoms (seizures) but have no effect on the underlying ...

Ketogenic diet for infantile epileptic spasms
Abstract Approximately half of all cases of Infantile Epileptic Spasms Syndrome (IESS) do not respond to vigabatrin and hormonal therapies. There is no clear consensus as to the second‐line therapy for IESS. Ketogenic diet (KD) has emerged as an effective treatment for certain drug‐resistant epilepsies and in many cases of IESS.

A STUDY ON THE EFFECTS OF TIDE ON SEDIMENTATION IN ESTUARIES OF THE NIGER DELTA, NIGERIA
Estuaries in the Niger Delta-Nigeria are influenced by tidal currents and wave actions due to their proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Tidal current provides the energy required to move sediments in and out of the estuaries from the seashores, while wave ...

Planned harvesting and processing of marine macroalgae could meet future global food needs and mitigate fuel‐originated carbon dioxide responsible for climate change. Microalgal foods are nutritious and safe. The utilization of macroalgae would avoid environmental problems arising from the release of overgrowing macroalgae caused by heatwaves, which ...

Sustainable Work and Employment in Social Care: New Challenges, New Priorities
ABSTRACT Human Resource Management (HRM) research focused on social care is sparse. This gap is surprising given the scale of the social care workforce in many countries, its vital role in meeting the increasingly complex needs of vulnerable community groups, and the persistent challenges in recruiting and retaining staff.
