Abstract Background Unexplained exertional dyspnoea without significant elevation of natriuretic peptides is common. One of the causes might be early heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Aims This study aimed to characterize patients with exertional dyspnoea and normal/near‐to‐normal N‐terminal pro‐brain natriuretic peptide (NT ...

Chemical Abundances of Seven Stars in the GD-1 Stream
We present the first detailed chemical abundances for seven GD-1 stream stars from Subaru/High Dispersion Spectrograph spectroscopy. Atmospheric parameters were derived via color calibrations ( T _eff ) and iterative spectroscopic analysis.

This paper aims to provide a robust design approach for HAWTs operating in shear flow. This study fills a critical research gap by integrating BEM and vortex theories for blade design in non‐homogeneous inflow conditions. The authors of the paper made an effort to develop and test an experimentally unsophisticated model of a turbine working in shear ...

We identified FOXA2 as a key regulator of lymph node metastasis in thyroid cancer, which controls cancer cell aggressiveness. FOXA2 knockdown promotes metastasis by enhancing tumor cell migration and, importantly, by inducing T‐cell apoptosis through a CCL2/LCN2‐mediated pathway. Created with BioGDP.com.

Love beyond Einstein: metric reconstruction and Love number in quadratic gravity using WEFT
We study tidal Love numbers of static black holes in four-dimensional quadratic theory of gravity, extending the result of GR. We use worldline effective field theory (WEFT) methods to compute metric perturbations from one-point functions, treating the ...

Search for Extratidal Features Around 17 Globular Clusters in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey
The dynamical evolution of a single globular cluster and also of the entire Galactic globular cluster system has been studied theoretically in detail. In particular, simulations show how the 'lost' stars are distributed in tidal tails emerging from the ...

Napabucasin reduces liver metastases by reprogramming the hepatic microenvironment. It induces hepatocyte secretion of CCL21 via c‐Fos activation, recruiting lymphocytes and converting “cold” metastases into immunologically “hot” tumors. This effect is liver‐specific and independent of cancer cells.

The Role of Preprocessing in Tidal Feature Formation within Galaxy Clusters
We investigate the formation of tidal features, such as tidal tails, streams, and shell-like structures, composed of stars stripped from satellites within galaxy clusters. For this, we use multiresolution cosmological N- body simulations with the “galaxy

Destruction of star clusters due to the radial migration in spiral galaxies
Most stars in galactic disks are believed to be born as a member of star clusters or associations. Star clusters formed in disks are disrupted due to the tidal stripping and the evolution of star clusters themselves, and as a results new stars are ...
