Magnetized Four-Dimensional $Z_2 \times Z_2$ Orientifolds
We study deformations of $Z_2 \times Z_2$ (shift-)orientifolds in four dimensions in the presence of both uniform Abelian internal magnetic fields and quantized NS-NS $B_{ab}$ backgrounds, that are shown to be equivalent to asymmetric shift-orbifold ...

Integrating interpretable machine learning with the fixed‐potential method reveals a novel mechanism: the catalytic activity of the electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction is governed by partial charge transfer, induced by variations in the intermediate potential of zero charge under constant potential.

On the Integrability of Four Dimensional N=2 Gauge Theories in the Omega Background
We continue to investigate the relationship between the infrared physics of N=2 supersymmetric gauge theories in four dimensions and various integrable models such as Gaudin, Calogero-Moser and quantum spin chains.

An anti‐swelling ion‐conductive hydrogel is developed via β‐cyclodextrin and Fe3+ synergism, enabling reliable underwater motion sensing and Morse code communication. Integrated with machine learning, the system achieves 98.6% accuracy in real‐time underwater handwriting recognition for rapid information transmission.

SPARK decodes structure‐property relationships in anion exchange membranes (AEMs) via a chemically informed dual‐channel graph attention network (DEGAT) that explicitly captures microphase separation. It outputs five‐level grades for hydroxide conductivity and alkaline stability and highlights relevant key structural units, enabling robust pre ...

Symmetry protected topological phases of spin chains [PDF]
Symmetry protected topological (SPT) phases are characterized by robust boundary features, which do not disappear unless passing through a phase transition.

Electronic and optical properties of electromigrated molecular junctions
Electromigrated nanoscale junctions have proven very useful for studying electronic transport at the single-molecule scale. However, confirming that conduction is through precisely the molecule of interest and not some contaminant or metal nanoparticle ...

Two model molecules — trimesic acid (TMA) and phloroglucinol (PG) — with opposite central electrostatic potential (ESP) distributions are employed to elucidate how molecular electrostatic interactions regulate the cathode interlayer (CIL) PDINN. Electrostatic potential complementarity is revealed as the intrinsic origin of thickness sensitivity in CILs,

Detection of low‐abundance proteins at the point‐of‐care is key for early detection and real‐time monitoring. The clinical translation of such assays is hindered by biofouling, matrix variability, and signal instability. RT‐MagMAp assay overcomes these challenges and enables precise protein quantification in human plasma using a hierarchical assembly ...

Grid Based Nonlinear Filtering Revisited: Recursive Estimation & Asymptotic Optimality
We revisit the development of grid based recursive approximate filtering of general Markov processes in discrete time, partially observed in conditionally Gaussian noise.
