A model for gas transport in microfractures of shale and tight gas reservoirs
AIChE Journal, 2015A model for gas transport in microfractures of shale and tight gas reservoirs is established. Slip flow and Knudsen diffusion are coupled together to describe general gas transport mechanisms, which include continuous flow, slip flow, transitional flow, and Knudsen diffusion.

Introduction to Tight Gas Reservoirs
2013Tight gas reservoirs represent a significant portion of natural gas reservoirs worldwide. Tight gas sand is generally characterized as a formation with effective permeability less than 0.1 md (Law and Curtis 2002).

Flow Units: From Conventional to Tight-Gas to Shale-Gas to Tight-Oil to Shale-Oil Reservoirs
SPE Reservoir Evaluation & Engineering, 2013Summary Core data from various North American basins with the support of limited amounts of data from other basins around the world have shown in the past that process speed or delivery speed (the ratio of permeability to porosity) provides a continuum between conventional, tight-, and shale-gas reservoirs (Aguilera 2010a).

A model of gas tight sci.erotom1es
2012Purpose: I'o develop a laboraion mode of the vitrectomised, gas filled e>e that allows assessment of the gas tightness of closed sclerotomies. Methods: Vitrectomised pig eyes were inflated via the optic nerve h> a computer controlled syringe driver and the I OP wis monitored continuousl) with a pressure transducer.
