Kinesin‐Induced Buckling Reveals the Limits of Microtubule Self‐Repair
This study shows that kinesin‐driven buckling induces extensive microtubule lattice damage that often exceeds intrinsic self‐repair and leads to filament failure. While curvature, motor motility, and force individually cause limited damage, their combination overwhelms repair.

Axillary bud viability and dry matter production of Poa ligularis in Patagonian grasslands [PDF]
Poa ligularis Nees is one of the dominant perennial grass species in Patagonian grasslands. This is the first field study which investigated the effects of defoliation frequency on its number of viable axillary buds, and subsequent dry matter production ...

Additive and Partially Dominant Effects from Genomic Variation Contribute to Rice Heterosis
Additive and partially dominant effects, namely at mid‐parent levels or values between mid‐parent and parental levels, respectively, are the predominant inheritance patterns of heterosis‐associated molecules. These two genetic effects contribute to heterosis of agronomic traits in both rice and maize, as well as biomass heterosis in Arabidopsis ...

1. The number of tillers synchronously developed from one root becomes less than the theoretical number, after the growth of [5] of the first tillering rank, and the cumulative tillers' number diverges from the theoretical value, showing a curve represented by the equation; S=an2+bn+c and S=an+b. (fig. 1) 2. It is caused by decrease of the growing rate,

Scalable Electrochemical Concrete Fabrication and Closed‐Loop Recycling
The electrochemical‐driven recycling strategy establishes a reversible concrete material flow by extracting Ca, Si, Al, and Fe from concrete waste and regenerating functional feedstocks. These reversed products are reassembled into new concrete, which re‐enters service and ultimately returns to waste, enabling a closed‐loop, waste‐origin, and low ...
