Transient meniscus response in tilted cuvettes: Role of surface tension and tilting rate
Physics of FluidsWe investigate the dynamics of liquid emptying from hydrophilic cuvettes with square cross sections, focusing on the role of surface tension, cuvette dimensions, and tilting rate. While the static deformation of menisci is well-studied, the transient behavior during tilting—relevant to practical scenarios such as pouring and accidental toppling—remains

Flow Under Tilt Surface for High‐Rate Settling
Journal of Environmental Engineering, 1985A clear layer flow rising under inclined surfaces (particle‐free flow stratified on the suspension), which can be utilized for particle settling enhancement, has been theoretically analyzed in order to apply it to design and operation of high‐rate settlers in water and wastewater treatments.

Calculation of direct solar radiation on tilted surfaces
Solar Energy, 1992This paper proposes formulae to convert on an arbitrary oriented tilted surface the unconcentrated or concentrated solar radiation data measured on a tilted surface. In the case of unconcentrated radiation, a widely used formula is shown to be a good approximation unless extreme situations are considered.
