Mechanical response of four polycarbonates at a wide range of strain rates and temperatures
Polycarbonate is widely used in engineering applications in which its mechanical properties need to be well understood over a wide range of strain rates and temperatures. These properties can be dependent on the molecular structure. In this research, the

Quantifying Superposition [PDF]
Measures are introduced to quantify the degree of superposition in mixed states with respect to orthogonal decompositions of the Hilbert space of a quantum system. These superposition measures can be regarded as analogues to entanglement measures, but can also be put in a more direct relation to the latter.

Nonlinear viscoelastic characterization of structural adhesives [PDF]
Measurements of the nonliner viscoelastic behavior of two adhesives, FM-73 and FM-300, are presented and discussed. Analytical methods to quantify the measurements are given and fitted into a framework of an accelerated testing and analysis procedure ...

Colonoscopic continuum robots lack sensing, endangering intestinal tissue. An ideal sensing array is hard to integrate. This work introduces a 3D crosslinked stretchable E‐armor with full‐coverage and multiplexing. It has bimodal sensing, forms a triboelectric synapse, uses CNN‐LSTM, and has a hydrogel and innovative triboelectric materials.

This study investigates the plasmonic properties and biosensing capabilities of a nanocomposite incorporating Cu and Ag nanoparticles for detecting anti‐DbpA antibodies associated with Lyme disease. The enhanced LSPR response is explained through FDTD simulations of Cu–Ag near‐field interactions and increased surface roughness.
