Split-And-Delay Unit for FEL Interferometry in the XUV Spectral Range
In this work we present a reflective split-and-delay unit (SDU) developed for interferometric time-resolved experiments utilizing an (extreme ultraviolet) XUV pump–XUV probe scheme with focused free-electron laser beams.

On the matrix formulation of time-delay interferometry
Time-delay interferometry (TDI) is a processing step essential for the scientific exploitation of LISA, as it reduces the otherwise overwhelming laser noise in the interferometric measurements. The fundamental idea is to define new laser-noise-free observables by combining appropriately time-shifted measurements.

The effects of orbital motion on LISA time delay interferometry [PDF]
In an effort to eliminate laser phase noise in laser interferometer spaceborne gravitational wave detectors, several combinations of signals have been found that allow the laser noise to be canceled out while gravitational wave signals remain. This process is called time delay interferometry (TDI).

Time-delay interferometry for LISA with one arm dysfunctional [PDF]
In order to attain the requisite sensitivity for LISA - a joint space mission of the ESA and NASA- the laser frequency noise must be suppressed below the secondary noises such as the optical path noise, acceleration noise etc. By combining six appropriately time-delayed data streams containing fractional Doppler shifts - a technique called time delay ...

Joint Estimation of Ground Displacement and Atmospheric Model Parameters in Ground-Based Radar
Atmospheric delay is the primary error in ground-based synthetic aperture radar (GBSAR). The existing compensation methods include the external meteorological data correction method, the polynomial fitting method, and the persistent scatterers SAR ...

Coherent shift estimation for stacks of SAR images
Speckle tracking is used with SAR images to estimate displacements, in ways that support or integrate interferometric measurements. This paper derives Fisher information expressions for the displacement estimation using coherent speckle tracking, for the

Comparison study of algorithms and accuracy in the wavelength scanning interferometry [PDF]
Wavelength scanning interferometry (WSI) can be used for surface measurement with discontinuous surface profiles by producing phase shifts without any mechanical scanning process.

The One-Way Linear Effect, a first order optical effect
In the One-Way Linear Effect, the round-trip time interval T0′ taken by light to propagate around a moving linear closed contour, is measured by a device. If the contour changes velocity by Δv, the round-trip interval T′(X′,Δv) turns out to depend on the
