Implementation of wavelet transform based on switched current circuits
In order to meet the engineering application requirement for low-power and real-time signal processing, an implementation of wavelet transform using switched current(SI) technique is presented in this paper.

Time-Domain Speaker Extraction Network [PDF]
Speaker extraction is to extract a target speaker's voice from multi-talker speech. It simulates humans' cocktail party effect or the selective listening ability. The prior work mostly performs speaker extraction in frequency domain, then reconstructs the signal with some phase approximation.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Finite-volume time-domain (FVTD) modelling of a broadband double-ridged horn antenna
Copyright © 2004 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.AbstractThis paper demonstrates the suitability of the finite‐volume time‐domain (FVTD) method to analyse electromagnetic ‘real‐world’ problems.

A causal model for linear RF systems developed from frequency-domain measured data [PDF]
With the ever-growing complexity of interconnect networks, models developed from measured data or data from 3-D electromagnetic simulators are increasingly becoming essential. It is to this end that the current contribution is directed. In particular, it

A Late-time Radio Survey of Type Ia-CSM Supernovae with the Very Large Array
Type Ia-CSM supernovae (SNe) are a rare and peculiar subclass of thermonuclear SNe characterized by emission lines of hydrogen or helium, indicative of high-density circumstellar medium (CSM). Their implied mass-loss rates of ∼10 ^−4 –10 ^−1 M _⊙ yr ^−1 (

Free Surface Reconstruction for Phase Accurate Irregular Wave Generation
The experimental wave paddle signal is unknown to the numerical modellers in many cases. This makes it quite challenging to numerically reproduce the time history of free surface elevation for irregular waves.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Wave separation in the trumpet under playing conditions and comparison with time domain finite difference simulation [PDF]
Wave separation within a trumpet is presented using three high pressure microphones to measure pressure waves within the curved, constant cross-section tuning slide of the instrument while the instrument was being played by a virtuoso trumpet player.
