Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

ABSTRACT Chitosan, a polysaccharide upcycled from biowaste, has long promised sustainable, biocompatible, and antimicrobial films and devices, an appeal reinforced by its recent regulatory recognition, with several chitosan‐based antibacterial dressings gaining clearance through the Food and Drug Administration's 510(k) pathway.

A new denoising approach based on mode decomposition applied to the stock market time series: 2LE-CEEMDAN [PDF]
Time series, including noise, non-linearity, and non-stationary properties, are frequently used in prediction problems. Due to these inherent characteristics of time series data, forecasting based on this data type is a highly challenging problem.

ABSTRACT Electronic waste has emerged as a major environmental challenge, driven by the massive consumption and a limited lifetime of modern electronic devices, stimulating the development of sustainable electronics. Here, an all‐biomaterial gelatin‐choline‐citric acid ([Ch][CA]) ionogel is developed as an active binder to realize self‐sintered ...

Time-varying market reactions to global uncertainties: an analysis of selected stock markets
This study examines time-varying volatility spillovers between global stock markets and major uncertainty indices using Diebold–Yilmaz (DY) and Baruník–Křehlík (BK) connectedness frameworks within a time-varying parameter VAR (TVP-VAR) model.

Time-varying risk aversion : an application to energy hedging [PDF]
Risk aversion is a key element of utility maximizing hedge strategies; however, it has typically been assigned an arbitrary value in the literature. This paper instead applies a GARCH-in-Mean (GARCH-M) model to estimate a time-varying measure of risk ...

Ambient‐Stable Transparent P‐Type CuI Transistors Via Room‐Temperature Pulsed Laser Deposition
An in situ PLD fabricated AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$/CuI/AlOx${\rm AlO}_x$ sandwich structure enables stable CuI TFTs with a field‐effect mobility of 2.3 ±$\pm$ 0.7 cm2${\rm cm}^{2}$ V−1${\rm V}^{-1}$ s−1${\rm s}^{-1}$ and excellent ambient stability. Complementary inverters based on CuI:Rb and ZnO:Al exhibit rail‐to‐rail voltage transfer characteristics and an
