Multidimensional arrow of time
European Physical Journal C: Particles and FieldsThis paper investigates the influence of extra dimensions on the nature of the arrow of time. We demonstrate that the observed arrow of time can be explained by the monotonic growth of the multidimensional manifold’s volume.

The Astrophysical Journal, 1975 A model of the universe which resolves the apparent contradiction between the historical and the thermodynamic arrows of time is presented. Both arrows are reconciled with the almost time-symmetric character of physical laws at the microscopic level. The theory implies that the universe is unfolding in time but not unraveling. (BJG)
